Amanda Jo is back in writing form, preparing her next album "The Two Commandments". This is an exciting project, as it is the first Christian music she has written.

The theme of the album is the new law set down by our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ in Matthew 22:37-40. The new album will be a double CD, with each set of songs referring to the appropriate commandment of love.

This is a dramatic turn in direction for the Michigan-born singer/songwriter. She recently received Word of Knowledge that she was to become a musical minister of God's Word, and is to carry that mission to Bristol, England. At last, the words and music are flowing again, and they are God-breathed.

She performed the first of those songs, "Everyday Miracle", at the Weekend in the Word in North Muskegon in the summer of 2004. She was given a great reception and was inspired to reach people's hearts with her message in her music.

The second disc will be made up of some re-recordings of favourites from her first album "Dusty Rose", and some songs she has written since.

Watch for a number of products relating to this album. There will be a songbook including lyrics and chords, for Christian fellowships to play. There will also be a single disc PC release, with high quality MP3s and a PDF version of the songbook.
